If you have a love for animals and can spare some time, we welcome you to come and volunteer.

• Under 16 years of age
  you must be accompanied by parent/guardian at all times and CANNOT walk dogs but there are many other ways that you can be of help to the shelter. Please call us at the shelter or email us and ask how.
   
• Over 16 years of age
  you CAN handle the animals and walk dogs without parental/guardian present. Photo ID must be presented to staff when signing up for dog walking.

How can you assist at the Shelter?
(16 years old and up are able to handle animals/walk dogs)

• By exercising the dogs
• By assisting the staff with daily chores
• By socializing with and grooming cats
• By helping the shelter's board with fundraising events
